GYTA53 Direct Buried, anti rodent, Corrugated Steel Armored Tape, aerial, buried, g652d, hanging, pole mounted, multi mode, outdoor fiber optic cable
Applications
These corrugated steel tape and aluminum tape armored and double sheath cables are suitable for installation in harsh environments where mechanical impact on the cable is to be expected.e.g. in direct buried application. They are also suitable for installation in ducts where the rodent resistance is to be expected or the moisture resistance is expected.
Designed for outdoor use, the GYXTW features a central strength member and is available with up to 24 fiber strands, making it perfect for a wide range of applications, from telecommunications to security systems. The cable is constructed with a loose tube design and is water-resistant, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments.
But the GYXTW isn’t just tough – it’s also easy to install. With its compact design and lightweight construction, the cable is simple to handle and can be installed quickly and efficiently.

The fibers, 250μm , are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier is applied around the cable core, this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure.
Single Sheath ADSS

Double Sheath ADSS

ADSS cable is loose tube stranded. The 250μm fibers are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes and possible fillers are stranded around a FRP (fiber Reinforced Plastic)as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After the cable core is filled with filling compound,it is can be covered with thin PE(polyethylene)inner sheath. After stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied over the cable core or inner sheath as strength member, the cable is sheathed by PE or AT(anti-tracking)material.
