There are two connection ways: direct connection and splitting connection. They are applicable to situations such as overhead, man-well of pipeline, embedded situation etc. Comparing with terminal box, the closure requires much stricter requirement of seal.

The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of PSP longitudinally.
