The single-mode or multi-mode fibers are positioned in a loose tube made of the high modulus plastic.The tube is filled with water-resistant filling compound.Over the tube,water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable watertight.After wrapping of steel braiding,the cable core is wrapped with a layer of corrugated steel tape.Finally,the cable is sheathed by PE sheath.
